My mummy took me on as a nervous puppy after I was attacked by another dog. I was a nightmare to walk – after the attack I’d jump straight into fight or flight behaviour, barking and pulling on the lead at absolutely everything and anything every time I left the house. My fear took over. I was so distressed I couldn’t cope with dogs, people let alone go to the groomers.

My human mummy knew she had to do something about this as quickly as possible to help me overcome my fears and feel safe and secure in myself and the world again.

My mum is pretty amazing as she has made my world a less scary place teaching me not only to play with other dogs from all her new knowledge and patience, but I’m now able go into coffee shops. I listen to my mum’s every word.
